Retirement:  Texas County & District Retirement System
  • 7% of each paycheck deposited into employee’s TCDRS account

​Holidays & PTO
  • 10 paid holidays each year
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) – combines traditional vacation time with other types of paid leave into a single bank of days for multipurpose use such as vacation, sick, family matters, bereavement, optional holidays and other personal time
    • For most employee’s PTO accrual increases for years of service from 10 hours accrued each month for an employee with 6 months to 1 year of service, up to the maximum of 24.66 hours per month for an employee with 31 years of service.
    • An employee may rollover a maximum of 720 hours of PTO into the new year.
    • Upon termination of employment, an employee will be paid for all accrued but unused PTO leave up to the maximum accrual limit. The payment will be made at the employee’s hourly rate (or annual rate prorated to an hourly basis) at the time of termination.
